Kate Lundy

Vice President

Kate Lundy serves as Vice President at Inspire, where she brings more than 23 years of communications expertise and a decade of leadership within the firm to help organizations tell their stories with clarity and confidence.

A trusted advisor to executives and national brands, Kate specializes in media strategy and coaching, as well as executive presence and personal branding, on-camera coaching, and more. She is particularly known for her ability to prepare leaders for high-stakes moments, equipping them to communicate authentically and effectively in front of any audience.

Drawing on her background as a television journalist, Kate combines a deep understanding of the media landscape with a sharp instinct for “why should you care”-storytelling. She works closely with C-suite leaders to refine their messages, strengthen their presence and elevate their performance in interviews, stakeholder presentations and public appearances.

In addition to her client work, Kate plays a key leadership role in driving Inspire’s business development strategy and also oversees the firm’s growing in-house video production capabilities, helping clients bring their stories to life through compelling, high-quality content. She also is proud to lead the account work for beloved brands and long-standing clients including Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, DSW and more.

After leaving TV news in 2009, Kate led communications initiatives for the State of Ohio at the Ohio Department of Development, including serving as communications manager for TourismOhio until 2016 when she joined the Inspire team.

Kate is a graduate of the University of Toledo, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast communications. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband and children, and connecting with friends over coffee or a great meal.

What Inspires Me?

The ability to spur action by creating an emotional connection. Authentic, values-based interactions is at the heart of almost everything we do as communicators. I often think of Maya Angelou – “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
